Some comments from a single month... "The lesson went well. The one hour and a half went very quickly. I think I can get on with Burhan and hopefully make some progress in learning Turkish. He is a pleasant man who seems to be patient and being a native Turkish speaker knows his stuff. We started with some basics - pronunciation of alphabet which I thought I knew but Burhan was able to help me with some correct pronunciation. I liked the one to one attention as I have struggled previously in a group classroom environment. When I am put on the spot my mind tends to go blank so being in a 1 to 1 situation helped me relax" "I'm very, very pleased with Catherine. although it has been two years since she last tutored me I felt we
fell into place immediately & she stimulated me to remember many
words & grammar thought I had forgotten. I have had a number of
Spanish lessons in recent years but none can match Cristina. I also
like the way she always comes well prepared & every minute of
the hour is used. She is fairly firm & never forgets to make sure
we work in between lessons & to set homework (& to check it).
"Lesson went fine, Tanja was on time and fully prepared to teach a genuine beginner. Gentle and calm, never tired of repeating herself. I felt comfortable to ask questions and, the most important, she promised to tailor the sessions to my needs, introducing me to the terminology of my work.
